  1. This year’s Sailing The Seas Of Weirdness was something else entirely! I’ve been coming since the second edition and each time Mäkkelä manages to curate something that pushes boundaries even further. That performance by Son of the Velvet Rat was absolutely haunting – I’m still thinking about those vocals days later. What I really appreciated was how the festival embraced both the experimental and the accessible. It’s not often you find an event that can make you question reality one moment and have you dancing the next. By the way, I’ve been building my own little ai tools directory for creative projects, and seeing how these artists blend technology with traditional performance methods gave me some serious inspiration for new entries. Already counting down to next year!
